    1. Does Nacho King! require payment of Royalty Fee?No Royaty Fee applies on all Nacho King! Franchise Packages.
    2. Do you provide locations?The Flexi and the Mini Cart were designed for mobility. You can set up the cart in virtually any location that you can think of such as schools, snack house, MRT/LRT stations etc. It can be a catering or event location. It can also be a fixed location. However, Mall Cart is ideal for Shopping or Commercial Centers like SM, Rustan’s, Robinson’s Malls. It will be the franchisees responsibility to find a suitable location. From time to time, Emyth Inc. can provide a list of potential locations to its existing franchisees.
    3. Do you require business permits?Business permits are location dependent and is the franchisee’s responsibility. Business permits include municipal/city or national. Emyth Inc. will share its experience on processing of business permits.
    4. Do you conduct location feasibility studies?Nacho King! does not conduct location feasibility studies. Franchise applicant will be responsible in determining viability of a location for Nacho King! cart. However, Nacho King! does provide guidelines (only, and not liable for assumptions made by franchisee) on how to complete your own feasiblity study.
    5. Can a franchisee get more than one cart?A Franchisee can operate more than one cart. Discuss this with your franchise consultant.
    6. Can several persons apply for a franchise?The franchise agreement requires only one person as franchisee. In case of married couples, any of the spouses can represent the conjugal relation as franchisee. Outside of married persons, Nacho King! honors the agreement with only one person whose name is in the franchise agreement.
    7. Can I apply for a franchise if I don’t have a site or a location?A franchise applicant should be able to submit at least a prospective location. Nacho King! can offer possible sites.
    8. Do all the franchise packages have initial inventory?Initial chips and cheese inventory are included only in the Flexi and Mall Cart Packages.
    9. Can we sell other items such as drinks, food etc?Drinks in general are allowed specifically pre-packaged ones. Other food products are not allowed. We will provide a list of allowed drink items during our franchise seminar in our office. There may be special situations that warrant discussion. Please discuss with your franchise consultant.
    10. Can I operate a Nacho King! franchise in the province? Do I have to make my own cart?a. Carts are constructed by Emyth Inc.

      b. Goods are sent by bus or ship – will work with any franchisee for the shipment of their goods.

      Franchisee is responsible for cost effective options for shipping their goods. Chips have 60-day shelf life and needs no refrigeration. Sauces have 30-day shelf life and needs to be transported with coolers.

    11. Can I apply for an exclusive location?Regardless of cart type and location, Nacho King! does not grant exclusivity.
    12. How long is the Training Program?Training of new Franchisee takes about 3 to 4 hours.
    13. Can I operate a mini cart or flexi cart inside a mall?Major Malls generally require the mall cart. It really depends on the requirement of the location owner.
    14. Are there initial product inventories included in the cart packages?Initial Chips and Cheese inventory are included in the flexi cart and mall cart packages only.
    15. Are the Chips Display and Cheese Warmer included in the mini cart and flexi cart package?No, a combo griddle/fryer and kettle cheese warmer are included in the mini and flexi cart package.
    16. Do you allow franchisees to make revisions or add-ons to the cart?Franchisees are not allowed in anyway to modify the cart and it’s signages.
    17. How do we place our order for supplies from Nacho King?Franchisees will have to fill-up a Sales Order Form which they can get at Nacho King Office, or, they can also request for a soft copy of the order form, fill-up and send through email at franchising@nachoking.com.
    18. Do you deliver supplies to the franchisee?Generally, supplies are picked-up by the franchisees from Nacho King office. Should franchisee request goods to be delivered, Nacho King shall observe 3 days lead time. Moreover, a minimum purchase and a delivery charge applies, however, delivery is limited to Metro Manila areas only.
    19. How are goods shipped and stored for provincial outlets?Proper handling and storage of the goods is discussed during the training. The Franchisee should be aware of storage conditions and shipping from Metro Manila to the specific provincial destination by forwarders.
    20. Do you maintain standard pricing/serving of your products with all your franchise stores?Yes. We do maintain standard serving/pricing for all products in all Nacho King outlets. However, as caterer or wholesaler, franchisee is responsible for pricing. We encourage all our franchisees to be as competitive as possible in pricing in order to build repeat business for themselves.
    21. Who takes care of the repair and maintenance of the cart and equipments?Other franchisors require the franchisee to pay a share in the advertising cost. When necessary, Nacho King engages in networking and advertising the brand, concept, products and services. This initiative generally promotes and strengthens the brand.

    22. Who takes care of the repair and maintenance of the cart and equipments?Franchisees are responsible for the maintenance and repair of their outlet and equipments that goes with it. Nacho King provides assistance in repair services with appropriate fees.
    23. How fast will I get my money back?Projected gross sales and net income are presented in person by a Nacho King sales officer. However, these are projections only and can either be lower or higher dependent on different factors particular to the prospective Franchisee.
    24. Can a franchisee do catering and wholesaling?Yes, as a matter of fact, these activities are highly encouraged for higher profitability.
    25. Who provides the manpower to operate cart?The franchisees should hire their own personnel who will operate the cart.
    26. How many crews are needed to operate a cart?Staffing is largely a function based on sales pattern and operating hours. For mini cart, one crew will normally do and minimum of two crew for mall cart is recommended allowing for one rest day per week.
    27. Is the franchise transferrable?The franchise is non-transferrable because Nacho King values the person, character and reputation of the franchisee.
    28. Can I transfer business location?If situation requires, like low sales, franchisee can transfer cart location, provided, franchisee seeks prior written approval from Nacho King.
    29. Can a franchisee allow another person to manage daily cart operations?
      Any franchisee can allow another person to manage or supervise the cart, provided, franchisee has personally trained the assigned person. In this case, franchisee will be responsible for ensuring that all Nacho King operating requirements are met.
    30. Do we need to remit anything to Nacho King when we do catering and wholesaling?
      No, all proceeds from your sales are yours to keep.
